About

A simple tool to help bond holders not lose money

The US government doesn't remind you when your bonds stop earning. BondMinder does.

The problem we're solving

There are $28.1 billion in matured, unredeemed US savings bonds sitting in drawers and safety deposit boxes right now. These bonds stopped earning interest years ago, and the Treasury doesn't send reminders.

EE Bonds are guaranteed to double at exactly 20 years. If you redeem at 19 years and 11 months, you miss the doubling entirely. I Bond rates reset every 6 months based on inflation. When rates drop from 6% to 1.3%, nobody tells you.

BondMinder tracks these dates for you and sends you alerts so you never miss an important deadline.

How we operate

🔐

Privacy-first

We collect only what's needed to provide the service. Your bond data isn't sold to third parties. The free calculator doesn't even store your bonds on our servers — it runs in your browser.

🔍

Transparency

We're upfront about what we are (an informational tool) and what we're not (financial advisors). We show you facts, not recommendations. What you do with your money is your decision.

🛡️

No false promises

We don't fabricate testimonials, inflate user counts, or claim features we haven't built. If something is coming soon, we say so. If we don't know something, we say that too.

💚

Simple pricing

Free calculator, paid alerts. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch, no "contact sales." You can see our pricing right on the homepage and cancel anytime.

All bond values, rates, and rules are derived from official US government sources. We don't make up numbers.
